Record Impact Factors for Professional Engineering Publishing Journals
We are delighted to announce that the 2008 Journal Citation Reports have shown a record high Impact Factor for a number of Professional Engineering Publishing Journals. These results reflect the high quality and timeliness of the papers published, and further emphasize the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers as a leading resource for world class engineering research.
The Proceedings Part A: Journal of Power and Energy, Part E: Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering and Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering have all seen over a 100% rise in Impact Factor, while other Journals including Part I: Journal of Systems and Control Engineering, have received their highest Impact Factor to date.
It was also announced earlier this year that the International Journal of Engine Research has been selected for inclusion in the Thomson Reuters databases. This Journal will receive its first Impact Factor next year.
