19 February 2010: PE Publishing Prize 2009
The PE Publishing Prize for the best paper published in the Journal of Risk and Reliability in 2009 has been awarded to D R Prescott, J D Andrews and C G Downes for their paper Multiplatform phased mission reliability modelling for mission planning. This paper was published in issue O1 of Volume 223, pages 27-39, and is available free online (please note, if a Board member is a co-author on a paper nominated for a prize, the Board member will abstain from participation in the decision making process).
19 March 2009: New Special Issue on Uncertainty in Engineering Risk and Reliability
The Journal of Risk and Reliability today issues a Call for Papers for a Special Issue on Uncertainty in Engineering. The Guest Editors are Frank Coolen (Durham University, UK), Matthias Troffaes (Durham University, UK), Michael Oberguggenberger (University of Innsbruck, Austria) and Lev Utkin (St.Petersburg Forest Technical Academy, Russia). 25 February 2009: PE Publishing Prize 2008
The PE Publishing Prize for the best paper published in the Journal of Risk and Reliability in 2008 has been awarded to AB Rauzy for his paper Guarded transition systems: a new states / events formalism for reliability studies. The paper was published in issue O4 of Volume 222, pages 495 to 505, and is available free online.
