The PE Publishing Prize for the best paper published in the Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering in 2009 has been awarded to T O'Doherty, D A Egarr, M G Faram, I Guymer, and N Syred for their paper entitled Assessment of residence time in a hydrodynamic vortex separator by applying distribution models, published in Vol. 223, issue E3, pp. 179-188. The paper is free to view online.
