The latest Impact Factor for the Journal of Engineering Tribology is 0.630. This figure represents an increase on the last year's IF of 0.490.


17 February 2010: 37th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology

The 37th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology entitled Tribology for Sustainability: Economic, Environmental and Quality of Life will take place at the Trinity and All Saints College, The University of Leeds, UK, from 7th until 10th September 2010. 9 February 2010: PE Publishing Best Paper Award

We are pleased to announce that the PE Publishing Best Paper Prize for the papers published in the Journal of Engineering Tribology in 2009 has been awarded to MB Dobrica and M Fillon for their paper entitled About the validity of Reynolds equation and inertia effects in textured sliders of infinite width, vol 223, issue J1. This paper is free to view online.

The Journal of Engineering Tribology will increase in frequency from 8 issues to 12 issues per annum from 2010.
