Message from the Editor

Dear Colleague,

I am writing this in my capacity as the Editor of the Journal of Engineering for the Maritime Environment, Part M of the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, which is dedicated to publishing the highest quality papers on all aspects of maritime engineering, in a timely fashion.

The Journal is advised by an international Editorial Board of experts across a range of disciplines. The Journal maintains the highest standards through their guidance as well as through scrutiny of papers by independent referees who peer-review the papers submitted for publication.

We welcome papers from respected authors wishing to publish results of their research on the design, production and operation of engineering artefacts for the maritime environment.

We hope that you will consider publishing your current and future work with us.
