Message from the Editor

Dear Colleague,

The aim of the Journal of Automobile Engineering is to publish the highest quality papers from the automotive industry and academia. We welcome contributions on all aspects of vehicle engineering, including components, and on other closely related subjects.

Our expert international Editorial Board, and links to the IET and MIA mean that the Journal embodies the constantly changing needs and interests of the automotive engineering community.

We also know how important it is to authors that peer review and publication are completed with minimal delays. As part of the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, we have both the editorial and publishing experience to ensure that authors are provided with first-rate service, from rapid peer review on our online manuscript handling system to rapid publication with the new InPress service.

The Journal is included in the Science Citation Index, Web of Science and Scitopia, alongside other major abstracting and indexing services, so you can be sure that your research is highly visible and easily accessible.

If you are working in the automobile engineering field, we hope you will consider publishing your papers in the Journal.
